Transitions into leadership roles in health care organizations often happen fast and without much formal training. Washington Hospital Service’s LEAD Academy gives recently hired, newly promoted or previously untrained health care supervisors and managers, the support and training they need to succeed.
LEAD is a 12-module program that builds leadership skills through hands-on, real-world learning. What sets LEAD apart is its focus on the people-side of leadership. Participants explore how to use their own strengths, understand others’ styles and build productive relationships that drive results – whether in patient care, team dynamics or business operations.
For senior leaders and executives, investing in programs like LEAD isn’t just about checking a box for professional development – it’s about setting new managers up for long-term success. That means stronger teams, better retention and ultimately, better outcomes for everyone.
The final cohort of 2025 starts on Sept. 4 and there’s only one spot left. Register now to secure your spot.
Group discounts are available. Custom in-person training is available for this program.
