WSHA hosts webinar on supporting vaginal birth

WSHA is hosting a virtual learning session on Sept. 11 at noon focused on improving maternal outcomes.  

The session, Supporting Vaginal Birth: Operative Strategies & Multidisciplinary Solutions, will cover best practices such as operative vaginal delivery (OVD), manual rotation and external cephalic version (ECV). Attendees will explore team roles in promoting vaginal birth, learn to use the TeamBirth OVD Guide for shared decision-making and identify system-level solutions to common challenges. 

The session features Dr. Wendy J. Smith, an OB/GYN and addiction medicine specialist. With over 14 years of experience at a Level IV maternal care center and expertise in informed care and provider education.
