DESCRIPTION:This external webinar is hosted by University of Washington Addictions\, Drug & Alcohol Institute. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for a monthly series co-hosted by the University of Washington’s Addiction\, Drug & Alcohol Institute (ADAI) and Behavioral Health Crisis Outreach Response and Education (BHCore). \nThis series will bring together emergency department clinicians\, EMS teams\, hospital administrators\, and other first responders to enhance substance use disorder (SUD) care across emergency systems. \nTopics Covered\n• Innovative approaches to SUD treatment\n• Best practices for emergency care\n• Coordination between EMS\, emergency departments\, and discharge  \nGoal: To build a statewide network of high-quality\, low-barrier SUD treatment and support services through coordinated efforts spanning EMS\, emergency departments\, and discharge programs. \nWho should attend: This series’ intended audience includes EMS teams\, emergency department providers\, hospital administrators\, and other first responders. All are welcome to participate regardless of SOR or BHCore funding. \nThis series is funded by the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and is provided by the University of Washington’s Addictions Drug & Alcohol Institute.  \n\nClick Here to Register Here
