DESCRIPTION:  \n  \nWashington State Hospital Association is pleased to offer the upcoming Workplace Violence Webinar to our members on Tuesday\, May 20th!  \nBe sure to register ahead of time to receive your Zoom access details by clicking the Register button or scanning the QR code above.  \nAbout Our Presenter: Christopher Powell \nChris Powell is the Chief Security Officer for UCHealth in Colorado. His background as a healthcare worker\, patient\, and security professional has lent him a unique perspective in the complex world of healthcare workplace violence and security. Here he will discuss the various initiatives and investments his organization has implemented to better prepare healthcare workers to recognize\, respond to\, report\, and recover from workplace violence events with the goal of preventing harm to all persons within our care. We will focus on accomplishing this goal while also ensuring that we remain focused on patient care and outcomes. These initiatives extend beyond the four walls of the hospitals and into the community and legislature to better serve the entire community in which we all live. There will be time for questions.
