Join in the Opioid Stewardship DELTA Collaborative, launching July 28, 2025. Pediatric pain is a growing crisis, with up to 38% of children developing chronic post-surgical pain, while opioid prescribing in Washington is 22% above guidelines. This six-month WSHA initiative empowers hospitals to reduce acute opioid use, especially in youth, through shared learning and data-driven strategies.
The Collaborative includes two in-person and four virtual sessions, focusing on barriers, Prescription Monitoring Program data and actionable solutions. Participating hospitals must designate:
- A C-suite sponsor
- A team leader with decision-making authority
- One team member involved in opioid harm prevention
