When: Wednesday, Aug. 13, 9 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Where: The Conference Center at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

The cyber threat landscape is always changing, and hospitals are regularly targeted by bad actors ranging from lone hackers to state-sponsored entities. How can health care professionals keep their facilities and staff safe? On Aug. 13, we invite you to learn more at our half-day cybersecurity workshop focused on emerging threats and strategies to protect hospitals and health systems.

This workshop is complimentary as part of your WSHA membership and is designed for CEOs, CISOs, CIOs, compliance officers, legal teams and IT professionals. Attendees will gain critical cybersecurity insights and explore solutions to boost system resilience and protect patient data.

The program will begin with a presentation from the nation’s risk advisor, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). CISA will outline the threat environment and share free federal resources to help hospitals strengthen their defenses.

The second hour will feature a session on innovation and response. As attackers grow more sophisticated, health care organizations must adapt their security strategies, fortify and remain alert to new risks.

The final session brings together a panel of health care members to discuss vendor due diligence and third-party risk management. With more than 90% of serious health care data breaches tied to third-party vendors, organizations must understand how to assess risk, hold vendors accountable and ensure compliance.

Join us to learn, collaborate, and build a stronger cybersecurity foundation. Please share this opportunity with your colleagues in leadership, legal and IT. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Bennett
