Are you prepared to meet the unique needs of children during disaster events? Texas A&M’s Pediatric Disaster Response is a comprehensive course designed to ensure emergency managers, health care professionals and community planners can support young patients in times of crisis.

Led by experts from Texas A&M Engineering, this training covers pediatric-specific planning for no-notice disasters, emergency management, surge capacity, mass sheltering, triage and decontamination. Participants will explore case studies, identify community resources for children with access and functional needs, and develop strategies for reunification and recovery.

The course is a great opportunity for first receivers, first responders and both hospital and community-based emergency management staff. Emergency medical services personnel, jurisdictional emergency managers and hospital planners are all welcome.
